Farm Fresh Turkey
Last year we were only one of four farms producing Farm Fresh Turkey in the Vale of Glamorgan. This year there are now only two producers left in the Vale. We rear our birds from day old chicks with the birds arriving at the farm in early August.
Our turkeys are kept to organic standards and allowed access to the outdoors when weather permits.
The Turkeys are slaughtered as close to Christmas as possible, therefore no gas or freeze drying processes are required to prolong storage. This helps to maintain the flavour and moisture content of the meat.
Stored in a coldroom until collection.
